Life on the teamWe are looking for an enthusiastic Bid Content Manager to support the development and maintenance of high-quality bid content to support the needs of our global sales teams.So, what do we do?The new Bid Content function is part of Group Development. We are a global function, helping Computacenter to maintain high win rates in competitive bid engagements through ensuring easy access to high quality, customer-facing information about our organisation and the services we deliver.As a Bid Content Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of a consistent Bid Content Strategy across the business, with a focus on quality, accuracy and consistency. You will own and manage content relating to a number of key business services and generate new responses for customer questions relating to these services, maintaining an effective network of key contacts within the relevant parts of our organisation to support efficient content creation and management.The role will suit someone who is experienced in Bid Management, Bid Writing or knowledge management, or who has previous IT industry experience and a strong understanding of Computacenter propositions and services; you should have a desire to work in an autonomous role, taking responsibility for your performance and to help drive the success of the Bid Content programme across the Group.This role will offer you the chance to drive you career in several directions. You will have a level of autonomy to develop this position, working closely with several different stakeholders internally.What youll doOwn and manage content records relating to your aligned business services.Generate new responses for questions relating to your aligned business services.Maintain an effective network of key contacts within your aligned business services to support content creation and management.Liaise with Technical Translators to ensure duplication of content records in agreed languages.Moderate content records created by other parts of our business to ensure adherence to best practice.Help develop and deliver training on our bid content strategy and associated systems and processes.What youll needExperience creating, reviewing and maintaining bid/sales content for similar organisations.Strong written and oral communications skills.Ability to prioritise workload independently, with strong organisational and planning abilities.Strong stakeholder management skills.Native-level English language.Excellent time management skills.Desirable: knowledge and experience within the IT industry.Desirable: proficiency in French and/or German language.Desirable: experience in using Responsive / RFPIO response management software.JBRP1_UKTJ
