Summary

Our Thetford Facility has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team immediately. You will be responsible for improving the efficiency of the warehouse, stock control and inbound/outbound gate operations. This will include sustaining any systems and procedures that have been implemented and continually developing the same to ensure the overall effectiveness of the Warehouse department. You will be accountable for the Warehouse teams, communicate effectively with internal and external departments to ensure internal and external customer demands are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Among the main functions and responsibilities of the job you will also;

Manage daily order and transportation
Working from delivery schedules, liaising with internal customers, transporters and other parties
Liaising with planners regarding delivery progress, problems, requirements etc and managing transport documentation
Reconciling stocks and implementing control measures
Conduct EH&S and GMP audits
Manage employee performance, including performance reviews, absence management, coaching and development
Manage and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct investigations when required

Qualifications, Key Skills and Experience

Warehouse Team Leader or previous Supervisory experience is essential
Experience working within a complex Manufacturing environment
Experienced liaising with a number of departments of an organisation
Good communication skills with the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team in a pressured environment
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong ethical willingness to work and achieve
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
