Your role as an Angular Developer is crucial to our journey. Being independently owned, we have the freedom to blaze our own trail and innovate on our terms. We’re looking for a dynamic and passionate developer who will not just follow our path, but help create it. We’re transforming the life insurance space one line of code at a time, and we want you on board.
This role is predominantly remote, but with our other two Software Developers living in Edinburgh, you have opportunity to meet and collaborate on a regular basis. There will also be the occasional requirement to travel to our head office in Bournemouth on the South Coast.
As a Mid-level Angular Developer, you’ll be:
· Enhancing and developing our bespoke CRM, Office Line.
· Rebuilding our existing AngularJS SPA using modern Angular (currently v16).
· Collaborating closely with back-end engineers and business stakeholders.
· Actively proposing design and technical solutions.
· Managing dependencies and ensuring systems are up to date.
The ideal candidate should have:
· Demonstrable experience in software development.
· Extensive experience with Angular (v14 or above).
· Experience with large and complex applications.
· Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript and HTML5.
· A good sense of UX and design.
· An adherence to best practices for security, design and maintenance.
· An ability to work independently whilst communicating well with other team members.
As we are a relatively small IT and software development team, each member makes a real difference. There may be chances for you to put any experience with other programming languages, technologies or tools to good use alongside Angular development.
