Hours: 40 hours per week Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm

Location: Peterborough, PE1 3TD

What will you be doing?

Complete administration tasks to ensure compliance;
Ensure that all messages are passed onto the relevant supervisors / manager;
Accurately process purchase orders.
Sales and Purchase Ledger Operation
Accurately process WIMS operating system
Ensure the accurate inputting of payroll;
Proactively deal with service issues and invoice disputes
Prepare any standard letters following HR (Human Resources) processes;
Take effective notes, minutes of meetings etc;
Ensure contract safety paperwork is up to date;
Ensure the safety of self and others.
Participate in staff meetings
To be the first point of contact for members of the public regarding queries or complaints about the commercial waste collections, as well as directly interfacing with the client.
Deal proficiently with any queries to find a suitable resolution.
Follow all relevant Veolia administration processes.
Assist Business Manager with preparation of monthly accounts reporting
General Administration duties.

What are we looking for?

Basic schooling is required, preferably with qualifications (GCSE or equivalent).
Practical verbal and numerical skills are important.
Administration / clerical experience is preferred, but not essential.
Good interpersonal skills- the ability to deal with members of the public.
Financial experience or, as a minimum, dealing with Excel spreadsheets.
Microsoft Office IT skills – intermediate level
Experience of some other system use i.e. wims,sage,workday and various other software packages.
Ability to work under own initiative.
Ability to manage own workload.
Good time management skills
Customer service skills
Punctual
