Activities Coordinator

Your new company
You will be working for a leading provider of housing, care and support services based across London and the South East.

Your new role
As an Activities Coordinator your main responsibility will be to develop and implement an active living programme for all residents to help support their social contact, independence and overall enjoyment. You will work with the onsite nursing and support staff to assess the capabilities of each resident and work together to run risk assessments prior to implementation.
The scheme has 75 residents aged 55 and over and is set in a beautiful leafy environment close to the Herts/Beds border.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL ROLE AND AS SUCH WILL ENTAIL WORKING TO A 7 DAY PER WEEK ROTA.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience working with the over 55 age group and ideally (but not essentially) in a similar care based setting. You will also need to be confident when dealing with individuals with challenging behaviour and proficient at using Microsoft packages, with excellent team work skills, demonstrating both collaboration and respect with peers and customers. You will also need a full UK driving licence with 6 points or less.
