£21,000 – £24,000 per annum
We are pleased to be working for an established and reputable company within the maintenance industry. As their clients' needs and demands increase they are now looking to expand their accounts team on a full-time and permanent basis.
You will be reporting directly to the Accounts Manager, your duties will include assisting with a wide range of Accounting and Administrative duties. In return for your work, together with 'on the job' support from the Accounts Manager.
As the successful Accounts Assistant, your duties will include:
Inputting financial information into account software
Pulling together and processing data (Excel)
Costing of completed works
Generating engineer's timesheets
Managing the Admin email
Processing job sheets
Day to day administrative dutiesThe desired candidate for this role will have the following:
Studying towards their AAT, ACA or ACCA qualifications. Candidates who are AAT qualified (Level 3 or 4) and not looking to continue studying, as also considered.
And/or 1-2 years' experience in working within an account's role
Basic knowledge and understanding of Accounts Principles
Good communication skills
Competent and confident in the use of Excel
Thorough working practises with an eye for detail
