Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £36000 to £42000 (Depending on Experience)
Our client, a large manufacturing business with a global presence, based in Peterborough, is looking to recruit an experienced Accountant to join its finance team that provides financial reporting and leadership to the Order to Delivery (OTD)organisation.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Member of the Business Support Accounting team responsible for the reporting of Fixed and Variable Costs for the Peterborough site along with associated analysis and commentary on a monthly basis.
* Month end financial close including journal preparation, cost allocations and associated trend analysis.
* Support annual business planning and forecasting cycles for key business areas within the OTD organisation.
* Act as Business Partner to OTD leaders through the provision of value-add cost reporting and KPIs, including monthly presentation.
* Completion of monthly corporate reporting requirements.
* Development of its current processes and reporting cascade as it progresses its digitalisation journey.
* Support the calculation of annual overhead cost rates
* Adhoc project work

Skills and Experience:
Candidates will have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:

* Professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability able to understand detailed data and analysis and translate to key messages to non-finance leaders.
* Previous management accounting experience.
* Excellent business partnering skills.
* Effective communication skills and confident in presenting financial information to senior management.
* Ability to fit into a dynamic and fast-moving accounting team and global business.
* Good organisation skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills.

Salary: £36000 to £42000 (Depending on Experience)
25 days annual leave,
10% bonus
