3PL Account Manager, Bespoke Packaging Solutions – Northants (National)

Innovative Bespoke Packaging Solutions provider seek to cement their significant presence with a major 3PL Client, by appointing a driven & ambitious Account Manager / National Accounts Co-Ordinator, supporting the Account Director in the significant further development of their major 3PL Key Account base.

Based in the Midlands with genuine National presence, they seek a robust, talented and dynamic individual, possessing the intellect, personality & hunger to engage & drive their increasingly high profile Client relationships & market USP’s.

In an increasingly commoditised market, this Business has invested & enhanced it’s ingenuity, capability & service desirability, through global outsourcing partnerships, innovative material solutions & most critically though an intelligent, Client centric partnered approach in the development of products, services & outstanding Client satisfaction.

With evolving strategic intelligence and the proven ability to genuinely leverage existing relationships to deliver strong growth results, you will be ambitious, have an aptitude for hard work & continual learning/development and have the capability/desire to develop much deeper & more effective Client relationships and revenue streams across a portfolio of circa 140 geographically diverse Client locations.

This role is crucial to the continued success of their Business plan, so working alongside the Account Director, you will focus on developing relationships and growth across geographically spread key stakeholders, managing expectations, customer satisfaction and driving an enhanced utilisation & value of the available Packaging solutions. Importantly you will have the intelligence to develop a strong commercial focus on leveraging the maximum return from the contract terms & the focus on securing enhanced opportunities within the broader sphere of their operations.

You will possess a fledgling presence, gravitas and a breadth of experience across the 3PL/Logistics/Distribution arenas, ideally from the Bespoke Packaging & Packaging Consumables sector and combined with a demonstrable aptitude for strong Client engagement, account management & results delivery, plus the immediately recognisable personality, hunger & dynamism to seek, pitch & convert new business opportunities within an existing Client base.

Located within easy proximity of their Midlands HQ, you will also spend significant time at multiple Client locations across the UK, so you will thrive on challenge, be passionate and enthusiastic in your approach and have an ability to communicate at a diverse level of responsibility, including Board level. This position is considered a key appointment, where an absolute ability to prioritise work and deliver against deadlines is considered essential.
